In 2003-04, Mr. Brown was hired as a consultant by the U.S. Department of Justice Northern District of Texas to implement his life skills curriculum working with 80 students at a Middle School in Dallas. Over a two year period, students improved in their grades, behavior, attendance, health, and self-confidence.

Mr Brown's awards includes Who's Who Among America's Teachers and Texas P.T.A. Lifetime Member.
